Rose G-spot Vibrator Review – Can a Cheap Amazon Sex Toy Be Good?

I’ve covered this toy before, but only briefly in an all-inclusive G-spot Review FeatureToday, we will be taking a deeper look. Mostly because I’m determined to find decent sex toys that do go into the triple-digit price tags.

THE PACKAGING

It’s pretty basic, but what can you expect for a cheap toy. I honestly threw it away before realizing I wanted to do a review. But, trust me; it’s nothing to write home about.

Plain cardboard with very little branding and bubble wrap (and I washed the toy a dozen times after I opened it). Things were a bit dented, but it was expected after such a long shipping.

THE MATERIAL

ABS plastic in hot pink with tiny silver sparkles set into the mold.

ABS is body-safe. And, with all the crap that’s out there, it’s good to find an affordable one made of something that won’t rot off your genitals. There was no chemical or “new car smell” coming off of it. Any seams were smooth, with no stray bits or slivers.

THE DESIGN

I don’t trust any “waterproof” promises. The rubber ring around the end makes it splashproof though. The shaft is pretty thin. I guess that was so they could focus on the g-spot end – which is a simple egg-bulb. All in all, it looks like a straight sperm ran head-first into a wall.

Next, however, is where we run into “problems.”

The motor runs on 2AA batteries, with a motor that reflects this and the price  – it’s honestly just “meh”, even as a clit vibrator.

This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Not everyone is a power queen and screams at anything above a shiver. If you like your teeth rattled, I’d look elsewhere.

THE USE

Feeling the moderate vibes in my hand, it didn’t surprise me that I was not blown away by them during use. The g-spot curve was enough for manual stimulation something enjoyable, although I found the curve of the toy, as well as the straight handle, a little awkward on the wrist.

I’ve had it for a few months now, and it hasn’t died out on me yet – which might be a fluke, dunno.

CARBON COPIES

This particular vibrator is what would be considered a generic toy coming out of some unknown factory somewhere. You’ll find it under several storefronts, all with a slightly different toy name, including:

  • Adam & Eve’s G-gasm Delight – by Health Time
  • G-gasm Delight – by BlueTree Shop
  • G-spot Vibrator – by Pink BOB
  • Rose G-spot Vibrator – by Too Timid
  • G-spot Vibrator – by Secure Trusted LLCsp

There are also a couple of versions that have an undisclosed coating over the ABS plastic – they say it’s phthalate free”, but that that doesn’t mean it’s covered in 100% body-safe materials. Specifically, Doc Johnson’s “Frisky” and G-spot Vibrator by Cloud 9 Novelties.

Prices range as cheap as $10 and going as expensive as $25 – but there’s no way  I would pay $25.

THE RECOMMENDATION

I’d suggest this toy to anyone needing a cheap fix, addition, or experience with their sex toys – especially those just starting out.

There won’t be the customer service or return policies that come with expensive toys though. But look at it this way, if you don’t like it, you won’t be out that much money.

In all, probably a 3/5, but the Rose G-spot shouldn’t be sad about it.

There are also other models that are very similar in shape and price range:

However, if bargain-basement cheap just isn’t your avenue, there are lots of mid-priced toys out there, not to mention high-priced options that will have better return policies and warranties.
