They had always been a deeply physical couple, the kind who communicated love through touch, closeness, and play. So when they separated, it hit them pretty hard. The physical closeness they relied on was suddenly gone. Losing the intimacy they once shared so freely made the early months of long distance harder than either expected. What surprised her most was how remote control toys didn’t just fill a gap, they helped rebuild something she thought she’d have to live without.

Other than the mental challenges, intimacy was a big one because we used to be very intimate. The app control has been a life changer.

I was really hesitant the first time because I’d used toys before, but he was always the one in control in bed. I wasn’t sure how much I would need to control since he wouldn’t be there physically. But oh my god, the amount of options and control he had… I didn’t even touch the toy except to insert it. It felt like he was right beside me again if I closed my eyes. I even teared up a little because I missed him so much mid session. Lovense definitely helped us build that long distance bridge.

I’m not saying LDRs are doomed without it, not at all, but it really hurts not being able to hug your partner or have sex with them. It makes me miss him even more. With the toy, a bit of that homesickness (him being my home) is mended.
